Who is the ADI Doctor?
Hi, I'm Lee Spary.
It can be an isolated world at times.
More and more, I talk to ADIs who live in fear of their Standards Check letter arriving in the post.
I've been there myself, too.
In 2017, I was one hour away from losing my job.
The panic that sets in when you fail a Standards Check (or two), is something I'd never experienced before.
Am I going to lose the job that I love?
How will I tell my learners?
How will I support my family?
We're a proud bunch too, aren't we?
We don't always want to ask for help.
Through the expert training I received to fix my own short-comings, I've built up a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding - and now disperse this to help others, who are now in the shoes I once were.
I initially set out to support ADIs from my local area.
But since the increased use of dash cam, video technology and online training platforms, I'm now in a position to offer my expertise right across the UK.
Ultimately, the higher we collectively raise OUR own standards as an industry, the better our 'end product' will be - more competent, safety-conscious new drivers on our roads.
I offer affordable training and support.
